09 — AI Systems & Apps
Build the system, not the science project.
Most businesses don't need an AI strategy. They need three specific jobs done faster and one system that stops leads, orders and answers falling between tools.
- AI Applications
- Custom Tools
- Workflow Automation
- CRM Integration
- Data Pipelines
- Chat & Support Assistants
- Internal Dashboards
- API Work
The problem
The bottleneck is rarely the technology.
Most businesses we meet are already paying for capable software. The enquiries still get re-typed into a spreadsheet, the quote still waits on one person, and the same question gets answered by hand forty times a week.
That's not a tooling problem, it's a wiring problem — and it's the one worth solving before anything is described as artificial intelligence.
What does Digital Pro actually build under AI systems and apps?
Custom internal applications, AI-assisted tools, workflow automations, system integrations and the data plumbing between them. A quoting tool, a document or listing generator, an enquiry router, a support assistant trained on your own material, a dashboard that pulls from the systems you already pay for.
We scope it the way we scope everything else: find the task that costs the most hours, build the smallest thing that removes it, then measure whether it actually did.
What's included
How the work breaks down.
Scoped to the problem, not to a package.
Process mapping
Where the hours actually go, which handoffs leak, and which tasks are repetitive enough to be worth automating at all.
Automation
The connective work first — systems talking to each other, data moving without a human retyping it, notifications that reach the right person.
Applied AI
Language models used where they're genuinely better than a rule: drafting, summarising, classifying, answering from your own content.
Custom apps
When an off-the-shelf tool can't fit the process, a purpose-built internal app that does, with the access control and audit trail it needs.
Got a problem shaped like this one? That's a good reason to talk.
Book a Strategy CallHow we work
From brief to result.
Five stages, with something reviewable at the end of each.
- 01
Audit
Walk the current process end to end with the people who run it.
- 02
Prioritise
Rank by hours saved and risk removed, not by how impressive it demos.
- 03
Prototype
Build the smallest working version and put it in front of real users.
- 04
Integrate
Connect it properly to CRM, store, inbox and reporting.
- 05
Measure & extend
Check the time actually came back, then take the next task.

AI Systems and Apps questions, answered.
The things clients ask before they commit.
Is this just adding a chatbot to our website?
Usually not, and often that's the least valuable thing we could build. A support assistant is worth doing once your content is good enough to answer from. Before that it just gives wrong answers faster.
The bigger wins are normally internal — the quoting, the data entry, the re-keying between systems, the report someone rebuilds by hand every Monday.
Do we need a huge amount of data to start?
No. Most of what we build runs on the material you already have — your product data, your documentation, your past quotes and your inbox.
Where there genuinely isn't enough to work from, we'll say so rather than build something that produces confident nonsense.
What about accuracy, privacy and who sees our data?
Both are scoping decisions, made before anything is built. We agree what data a system may touch, where it's processed and what it's allowed to do unsupervised, and we keep a human approval step wherever an error would be expensive.
Anything customer-facing gets reviewed against your own material rather than left to improvise.
How is this different from the automation in our current software?
Often it isn't, and then we'll tell you to use what you're paying for. Plenty of processes can be fixed inside the tools already in the business.
Custom work earns its place when the process crosses several systems, when the logic is specific to how you operate, or when no existing tool fits without bending the business around it.
Other capabilities
They work better together.
Each capability stands alone, but the compounding happens when they connect.
Branding & Design
We don't simply make businesses look better. We work out what a brand should stand for, how it should communicate, and why a customer should choose it.
Explore Branding & Design 02Communication Strategy
Most businesses don't have a marketing problem. They have a clarity problem. We settle what you say, who you say it to, and in what order.
Explore Communication Strategy 03Print Design
Print is unforgiving: you cannot patch it after it ships. We design for the press, the substrate and the viewing distance, then supply artwork that runs first time.
Explore Print Design 04Video Editing
One good edit beats ten rushed ones. We cut for the platform, the sound-off viewer and the first three seconds, because that is where video is actually won or lost.
Explore Video Editing 05Search & AI Visibility
SEO helps customers find your business. AEO helps your brand become part of the answer. We build for both, because discovery no longer happens in one place.
Explore Search & AI Visibility 06Performance Marketing
Paid media is the fastest way to buy attention and the fastest way to waste money. We run it against qualified demand, revenue and acquisition cost.
Explore Performance Marketing 07Content & Social
Content is how a brand earns attention between purchases. We plan it against real demand and the questions buyers ask, then produce it consistently.
Explore Content & Social 08Web & Ecommerce
A website is not a design project with a business attached. It's the place every other channel sends people — and where the money is made or lost.
